First Day in Samtse
Didn't sleep to well; the change in climate was a primary reason for that. It's just really warm. I don't have a thermometer; but I assume that it is somewhere around 30 degrees Celsius. Humidity is not yet as bad as it can be in NC but it still on an ok level ;-). Kinzang, his cousin, and Ugyen (the IT guy at NIE Samtse) picked me up at 8:30am and we went to the Sunday market. Got vegetables, potatoes, rise, pasta, cucumber, tomatoes, and carrots for the next couple of days. Back in my room, I tried to cook what looked like Pasta. Uff, I guess it's the Indian version of Pasta. It looks like 'Aelplermagronen' but as soon as you cook it, it looses any form and becomes some sort of - not quite sure how I should describe it; probably better not to do so... Maybe it's as well just the fact that I was cooking ;-). I ate this Pasta together with carrots.
